The Brawley School, an IB World School
Our 8th grade students had a chance to relive the founding days of our democracy this week by reenacting the Continental Congress in Individuals & Societies. After learning the history of the Revolutionary War period, each student researched an individual delegate and then acted out the role of that person in the Congress. After debating the issues of the day, most classes voted for freedom and even drafted their own declarations of independence!
Well done, delegates!
